Portable Generator for Critical Infrastructure
Broad Street Bioretention Basin
Project Location:Â Carlstadt, NJ
Amount Requested:Â $824,000
Intended Recipient: Borough of Carlstadt
Description:Â This funding supports the construction of a bioretention basin to alleviate chronic flooding along Broad St. in Carlstadt. This would promote sustainable stormwater management & greatly improve outdated infrastructure.
Highlands & Monmouth Hills Flood Mitigation and Green Infrastructure Project
Emergency Services Center Building Renovation Project
Project Location:Â Metuchen, NJ
Amount Requested:Â $5,000,000
Intended Recipient: Borough of Metuchen
Description:Â This funding will be used to complete the Metuchen Borough Emergency Services Center Building Renovation Project, which will update facilities to serve the community. The new space will also house the volunteer fire department which provides mutual aid across the town and across Middlesex County.
Communications Center Relocation and Upgrades Project
Project Location:Â Englewood, NJ
Amount Requested:Â $1,875,000
Intended Recipient: City of Englewood
Description: This funding will be used to relocate the current Englewood Communications Center (ECC) to a new building; upgrade the ECC’s radio equipment, consoles, as well as to conduct needed renovations. This project will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the ECC and the safety of Englewood City.
Joint Special Operations Facility

Amount Requested:Â $4,875,000
Intended Recipient: County of Camden
Description:Â This funding will support a Joint Special Operations Facility in Camden County. This facility will function as a backup Emergency Operations Center, provide storage for emergency apparatus, and serve as a specialized training site for special operations personnel.
Dispatch Consoles and Emergency Operations Center Upgrade

Amount Requested:Â $300,000
Intended Recipient: Township of Hopewell
Description: This funding supports the purchase of updated technology to respond to emergency calls. The requested technology will bolster the operations of the local Township Police Department, ensuring its equipment is dependable and meets the community’s growing public safety needs.
