Use of Generative AI (Gen AI) in Service Academy Applications
We recognize the current widespread use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and acknowledge the many benefits of this technology. However, it is important that an individual’s knowledge, skills, and abilities are accurately assessed when being considered for a nomination. AI should not be used in submitting writing samples, when completing on-line assessments, and in support of screenings and/or interviews. Integrity is one of our core values and all applicants must demonstrate alignment to this value while seeking potential a nomination. Unauthorized use of AI during the application process may impact consideration for a nomination.

United States Military Service Academy Representatives
We highly recommend reaching out to the state admissions representatives of your chosen academy. They are an invaluable resource for providing detailed information about the application process and offering assistance to prospective cadets and their families.
- U.S. Air Force Liaison Officers
- U.S. Merchant Marine Field Representatives
- U.S. Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officers

Due to the high volume of applicants and limited number of permitted nominations per member of Congress, all candidates are strongly encouraged to also apply for a nomination from Senator Cory Booker, their U.S. Representative, and other possible nomination sources, such as Office of the President and Vice President, and the Secretary of the Army, Navy, or Air Force.Â
