City of Camden for Sewer Lining Upgrades 

Amount Requested: $2,250,000

Intended Recipient: City of Camden

Description: This project supports the rehabilitation of severely deteriorated sanitary sewer mains using trenchless lining methods in the City of Camden. This investment will greatly improve public health and system reliability.

Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority for Lead Service Line Replacement 

Amount Requested: $1,000,000

Intended Recipient: Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority

Description: This project supports the replacement of aging lead service lines in Jersey City. These improvements will allow for greater movement through the system to provide clean drinking water and promote more equitable water quality for all residents.

Borough of Spotswood for NJ Lead Line replacement Project

Amount Requested: $2,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Spotswood, NJ

Description: This project supports the replacement of lead service lines in the Borough of Spotswood to provide safe drinking water to residents to reduce the impacts of lead contaminates on children and older adults.

City of Orange Township for Chestnut Street PFAS Treatment System Project

Amount Requested: $5,000,000

Intended Recipient: The City of Orange Township

Description: This project supports the construction of a permanent PFAS treatment system at the Chestnut Street Pump Station in the City of Orange Township. This investment will remove harmful contaminants from the drinking water supply and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.

Maple Shade Township for Main Street Force Main Replacement Phase 2

Amount Requested: $1,600,000

Intended Recipient: Maple Shade Township

Description: This project supports the Main Stret Force Main in Maple Shade. This investment will prevent Sewer System Overflows (SSOs) and protect public health. 

Neptune Township for Coastal Lakes Restoration Project

Amount Requested: $10,248,000

Intended Recipient: Neptune Township

Description: This project supports improvements to stormwater management and water quality in Fletcher Lake and Wesley Lake through dredging, bank stabilization, and installation of stormwater controls. 

Park Ridge for Lead Service Line Replacement Phase I 

Amount Requested: $4,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Park Ridge

Description: This project supports the identification and removal of lead service lines in the Borough of Park Ridge. The project will reduce lead exposure risks, protect public health, and improve drinking water reliability for more than 16,000 residents served through over 5,000 connections. 

Borough of Avalon for Lead Service Line Removal

Amount Requested: $4,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Avalon

Description: This project supports the identification of lead service lines in the Borough of Avalon. This investment will allow for the township to develop an engineering plan to remove the service lines, and carry out the work in accordance with State guidelines.

Borough of Elmwood Park for Domestic Water Main Replacement Project 

Amount Requested: $1,920,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Elmwood Park

Description: This project supports the Domestic Water Main Replacement Project in the Borough of Elwood Park. This investment will reduce service disruptions, lower maintenance costs, protect public health, and assist the Borough meet state requirements.  

Improving Water Infrastructure Phase One for the Borough of Franklin Lakes

Amount Requested: $5,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Franklin Lakes

Description: This project supports the installation of water mains and hydrants in the Borough of Franklin Lakes. This investment will improve the water quality for residents who rely on local wells and ponds for water. 

Wallington for Lead Service Line Replacement

Amount Requested: $12,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Wallington

Description: This funding supports the replacement of lead water service lines which are present throughout the Borough of Wallington. This investment will improve the safety and quality of our public drinking water supply.  

Lakewood MUA for GACAS Installation for Wells 1, 2 & 3 

Amount Requested: $2,524,000

Intended Recipient: Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority

Description: This project supports the installation of granular activated carbon adsorption systems (GACAS) for Wells #1, #2, #3 in Township of Lakewood. This investment will allow for the removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances to comply with State and Federal guidelines.

Montville Township for PFAS & Manganese Treatment Plant 

Amount Requested: $19,000,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Montville, NJ

Description: This project supports the planning, design and construction of a new PFAS & manganese treatment plant in Montville Township. This investment will improve drinking water quality, protect public health, and achieve compliance with federal and state’s regulatory requirements. 

Borough of Oakland for PFAS/PFOA Treatment at Soons Well Field 

Amount Requested: $3,648,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Oakland

Description: This project supports the construction of a PFAS/PFOA treatment system to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency’s drinking water standards. This will ensure the provision of healthy and safe drinking water for Oakland’s residents, businesses, and restaurant patrons. 

Mahwah for Water System Filtration Project 

Amount Requested: $10,000,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Mahwah

Description: This project supports the installation of an advanced PFAS treatment systems at multiple municipal wells to ensure compliance with federal and state drinking water standards. This project will protect public health, strengthen critical water infrastructure, and ensure a safe, reliable drinking water supply for more than 26,000 residents and nearby regions. 

Ramsey for Water Treatment Project 

Amount Requested: $1,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Ramsey

Description: This project supports the construction of PFAS treatment facilities at active municipal drinking water wells in the Borough of Ramsey. This investment ensures continued access to safe, reliable drinking water for more than 30,000 residents while preserving critical local water infrastructure. 

Pennington for PFAS Water Treatment Plant

Amount Requested: $5,500,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Pennington

Description: This project supports a PFAS Water Treatment plant for the Borough of Pennington. This investment will improve the water quality and long-term health benefits for residents. 

Township of Barnegat for Standpipe Water Main Extension 

Amount Requested: $400,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Barnegat

Description: This project supports the construction of standpipe water main extension along Barnegat Boulevard in the Township of Barnegat. This investment will strengthen the Township’s ability to maintain safe, reliable drinking water service for existing residents and businesses. 

Borough of Paramus for Valley Hospital Wastewater Pump Station Construction

Amount Requested: $6,000,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Paramus

Description: This project supports the construction of a sanitary sewer pumping station & upgrades to wastewater infrastructure serving the Borough of Paramus’s New Valley Hospital campus. This project will strengthen wastewater reliability, protect local waterways, and support critical healthcare infrastructure. 

Asbury Park for Wastewater Treatment Plant Electrical and Pumping Resiliency Improvements

Amount Requested: $440,000

Intended Recipient: City of Asbury Park

Description: This project supports two resiliency improvements at the City of Asbury Park wastewater treatment plant: elevating an existing transformer to protect it from revised flood elevations and replacing three severely damaged influent pumps to maintain reliable wastewater conveyance during storm events. 

Sea Isle City for Stormwater Pumping Station

Amount Requested: $4,000,000

Intended Recipient: City of Sea Isle City

Description: This project supports critical flood mitigation infrastructure throughout Sea Isle City. The funding will support the construction of a stormwater pump station to alleviate tidal and storm flooding in the area of Sea Isle City bounded by 30th and 38th Street, the bay, and Pleasure Avenue along the beachfront. 

Watchung Lakes Dredging Project 

Amount Requested: $5,711,000

Intended Recipient: Borouogh of Watchung

Description: This project supports the full depth dredging of Watchung Lake and Best Lake, to the depth that existed prior to the accumulation of sediment within the lakes. This investment will enable the lakes to serve as natural catch basins for stormwater and regulate flooding in low-lying municipalities. 

Montgomery Township: Cherry Valley to Skillman Village Wastewater Treatment Plant Consolidation 

Amount Requested: $3,000,000

Intended Recipient: Montgomery Township

Description: This project supports the consolidation of the aging Cherry Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant into the modern Skillman Village facility in Montgomery Township. This project will eliminate outdated infrastructure, improve water quality in the Millstone River watershed & ensure regulatory compliance. 

Park Ridge Mill Pond Dredging and Ecological Restoration Phase II 

Amount Requested: $5,000,000 

Intended Recipient: Borough of Park Ridge

Description: This project supports the dredging of Park Ridge Mill Pond in the Borough of Park Ridge. This investment will reduce stagnant water & mosquito breeding conditions. It will also help protect downstream drinking water resources, including Pascack Brook and the Woodcliff Lake Reservoir. 

Millburn Township Strategic Wildfire Mitigation and Response Plan Project

Amount Requested: $200,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Millburn

Description: This project supports a wildfire mitigation study in the Township of Millburn. This project will increase the safety of residents, first responders, and surrounding communities.  

Cape May Mac for Cape May Lighthouse Painting & Lantern Light Glazing Project

Amount Requested: $500,000

Intended Recipient: Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (trading as Cape May MAC)

Description: This project supports the restoration and preservation of the Cape May Lighthouse for the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. These improvements will ensure its continued maritime function and preserve it as a key historic and cultural destination in Cape May. 

East Windsor Township – Stormwater Management Plan Revision, Update, and Overhaul 

Amount Requested: $550,000

Intended Recipient: Township of West Windsor

Description: This project supports the modernization of the stormwater management system for the Township of East Windsor. These investments in system maintenance will improve stormwater quality, protecting environmental conditions and residents’ health.

Peckman Riverbank Stabilization Project Phase 2 in Little Falls Township

Amount Requested: $4,000,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Little Falls

Description: This project will address severe erosion, improve water quality, and protect critical infrastructure. This investment builds will enhance watershed resilience, reduce pollutant loading, and mitigate environmental and public health risks.  

Longport for Replacement of Well No. 3 

Amount Requested: $1,600,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Longport

Description: This project supports the replacement of Well No. 3 located on 31st Avenue at Winchester Avenue in the Borough of Longport. This investment will resolve several deficiencies that could lead to well failure.  

Town of Newton for Improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant

Amount Requested: $1,520,000

Intended Recipient: Town of Newton

Description: This project supports the replacement of failing biosolids treatment equipment at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. This investment will enhance operational reliability, reduce costs, and improve environmental performance by minimizing odors and untreated sludge hauling. 

Rocky Hill for Municipal Water Infrastructure Improvements

Amount Requested: $3,320,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Rocky Hill

Description: This project supports the replacement of aged water mains in the Borough of Rocky Hill. This investment will ensure our municipal water system has an adequate supply of water, including backup water in case of an emergency or break somewhere in the water system. 

Township of Freehold for Medford Boulevard Area Water & Sanitary Sewer Improvements – Phase II 

Amount Requested: $1,358,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Freehold

Description: This funding supports the replacement of aging water mains and rehabilitates the sanitary sewers along Townsend Drive and Adams Place in the Medford Boulevard area of the Township of Freehold. This investment will be more durable infrastructure to improve water service reliability and quality.

New Milford for Sutton Place Drainage Improvement Project 

Amount Requested: $207,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of New Milford

Description: This project supports the installation of a new Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) storm drainpipe in the Borough of New Milford.  The investment will have a direct benefit to residents and the community at large by reducing the impact of stormwater damage. 

Wastewater Treatment Plant Primary Clarifier Rehabilitation for Pemberton Township

Amount Requested: $1,500,000

Intended Recipient: Pemberton Township

Description: This project supports rehabilitation of primary clarifiers at a wastewater treatment plant in Pemberton Township. This investment will protect local waterways and groundwater resources while ensuring compliance with Clean Water Act standards.

Improvements to Sparta Avenue Pump Station in the Town of Newton 

Amount Requested: $1,398,000

Intended Recipient: Town of Newton

Description: This project constructs a new pump station to replace an aging, failing facility that currently conveys wastewater from approximately half of Newton’s collection system. This investment will deliver a modern facility with upgraded equipment & controls which will improve system reliability. 

Queen Anne Road Drainage Improvement Project 

Amount Requested: $1,051,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Teaneck

Description: This project supports the improvement of the drainage capacity of stormwater on Queen Anne Road for the Township of Teaneck. These improvements will reduce the risk of flooding and exposure of polluted stormwater runoff into residential areas. 

Borough Of Wanaque for Union Court Sanitary Sewer Pump Station

Amount Requested: $988,000

Intended Recipient: Borough of Wanaque

Description: This project will rehabilitate and upgrade the Union Court Sanitary Sewer Pump Station, a critical wastewater infrastructure asset serving residents. This project will improve system reliability, prevent sanitary sewer overflows, and protect water quality in the Borough of Wanaque. 

Township of Pequannock for Brooklawn Pump Station Replacement

Amount Requested: $1,750,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Pequannock

Description: This project supports the building of a new sanitary sewer pumping station in Brooklawn. This investment will replace an aging, undersized and obsolete sewer pump station. 

ACMUA for Water System Resiliency & Transmission Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project

Amount Requested: $1,000,000

Intended Recipient: Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority

Description: This project supports the replacement or rehabilitation of the remaining three transmission crossings for the Atlantic County Municipal Authority. This investment will modernize critical infrastructure within the drinking water distribution system. 

Middletown Township for North Middletown Stormwater Pumping Station Improvements

Amount Requested: $5,224,000

Intended Recipient: Middleton Township

Description: This project supports the renovation of the stormwater pumping station for Middletown Township. This investment will increase water flow and prevent flooding in the area.Â
