Construction of a Reverse Osmosis Water Desalination Facility for Cape May 

Amount Requested: $10,000,000

Intended Recipient: City of Cape May

Description: This project supports the construction of a reverse osmosis desalination facility to replace the current facility. This investment will provide drinking water for over 5,000 residents & businesses along with hundreds of thousands of tourists for the communities of Cape May region. 

Federal Signatory Funding Project for Delaware River Basin Commission 

Amount Requested: $715,000

Intended Recipient: Delaware River Basin Commission

Description: This project supports the Delaware River Basin Commission to fulfill the federal signatory funding share of the DRBC’s budget to further advance DRBC’s scientific mission and maintain the high-quality management of the Delaware River and its Basin. 

Beach Nourishment for Long Beach Township

Amount Requested: $35,500,000

Intended Recipient: Township of Long Beach

Description: This project supports a full beach nourishment. This project will protect Long Beach Township and surrounding towns from hurricanes, coastal storms and flooding.Â
