JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) will hold a town hall in Asbury Park on Thursday, February 19th at 6:00 pm. New Jerseyans will have the opportunity to speak directly with their Senator on their concerns while getting an update from him on a range of issues including the Gateway Tunnel Project, and the ongoing affordability crisis in New Jersey and around the country.
Senator Kim will be joined by guest speaker Kay Harris, President of Asbury Park Museum and The Asbury Park Historical Society, to discuss the important role Asbury Park played in the civil rights movement as the office marks Black History Month.
Following through on his long-held commitment to hold town halls, Senator Kim held 81 town halls before being sworn in to the Senate. Since joining the Senate, he’s held ten town halls, reaching thousands of people across New Jersey.

Before being elected to the U.S. Senate, Kim represented New Jersey’s Third Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives and was a career public servant working in national security and diplomacy at the White House, State Department, and Pentagon.
