“President Trump’s attempt to fire a sitting member of our Federal Reserve Board is not just against the law, it shakes the confidence in our economy. These reckless actions risk the financial security of our families and American businesses. Our courts must immediately review this brazen violation of presidential authority so it can be overturned as soon as possible. I urge all my colleagues, including Republican Senators, to stand up for our rule of law and our economy.”
